The Anjali School of Dance was founded in 1996 to provide training in the ancient Indian artform of Bharatanatyam to students in the greater Portland area.
There are over fifty students currently under her tutelage at the studio in Hillsboro. Students are directed through the rigorous process of learning the basic steps and gestures to choreographing major pieces building on the fundamentals. They also receive instruction in the various elements of stage performance and production.
